Sales Engineer

Position: Sales Engineer

Location: Beijing

Responsibilities:

• Manage the sales process of railway/metro equipment by presenting the products;
• Manage the tender documents and following up on the proposals;
• Function as project manager for the production of the equipment to assure quality of the machines after a successful sales;
• Directly under the GM and functions as link between the company and the Chinese Ministry of Railway;
• Lead a small team;
• Has the opportunity to travel in China and to Germany frequently;

Requirements:

• University degree in engineering;
• + 5 years experience and background with metro and railway products;
• Understanding of tender documents and contract negotiation;
• Readiness to travel within China and for training to Germany;
•  Willingness to stay at the construction site and learn about the product - learning by doing;
• Both engineering and communication skills;
• Responsible and team oriented;
• Good command in oral and written English is required;
