Dr. Ralph Föhr
CEO of the ECS Group, born 1958, German nationality, holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
Dr. Föhr worked for almost 20 years in the German computer-related high-tech industry in different management positions. The excellent management experiences he collected enabled him to start his first own company in 1994. He built up several business units in almost all parts of the world, including China, so he is well connected with the European and the Chinese industry. Starting the last few years, he devotes himself exclusively to specializing in the business between the Greater China Area and Europe.
As CEO of the ECS Group, Dr. Föhr leads an international team of high-class managers throughout Europe and the Greater China Area, directly helping European companies establish themselves on the Chinese market. Furthermore, he is active in developing concepts for Chinese private companies for a smooth start-up in Europe.
Sunny S.C. Huang
Director at ECS, born 1969, originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China, residence in Germany.
Ms. Huang started her career in different high level management positions in big Taiwanese hotels and World Trade Centers in the business fields of Sales & Marketing, Event Planning and Human Resources. After 10 years, she changed into the new E-business segment of the tourism industry. She was Business Development Director at the Taiwan operation of the NASDAQ listed Chinadotcom Corporation and she was a co-founder of the first online hotel booking website in the Greater China Area.
In ECS, with her professional background and the tight network with the Chinese market, she is the Business Development specialist for European companies going to the Greater China Area and the other way round. Based on her HR experiences, she provides cross–cultural Sales & Marketing Coaching, HR Assessment and related training courses and coachings.
Christophe Leconte
Director Energy & Environment Department at ECS, born 1975, French nationality, holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Science degree of Aerospace Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Mr. Leconte has worked in France as an engineer in High Tech and Aerospace fields, and has also held Technical and Management Consulting positions in Europe and China prior to joining ECS. Mr. Leconte lives and works in Shanghai.
In ECS, Mr. Leconte is responsible for managing operations for projects in Green Technologies / Renewable Energy domains, leading the engineering team and project team both for setting up biomass power stations, and representing foreign technologies in China.
Katja Wiegratz
Manager Services at ECS, born 1982, German nationality, holds a German Diploma in Business Administration.
Ms. Wiegratz has a background in Economical Studies with a focus on Controlling, Marketing and Macroeconomics. Since 2004 she is concentrating on the topic China and has been working in a Chinese consulting company in Germany. Since 2007 Ms. Wiegratz is living and working in China. She has been involved in the field of Marketing, Media and Communication and was able to acquire cross-industry business contacts and knowledge about economic situation and trends in China.
At ECS, Ms. Wiegratz and her team support ECS customers in their China business in the fields of office set up and management, as well as customer related services in China. These services are available in several locations throughout China. They meet the local market requirements as well as the international standards and ensure a smooth and successful business performance.
Rick Otto
Regional Manager North China at ECS, born 1983, Dutch nationality, holds a Master’s degree in International Relations.
Mr. Otto has been engaged in the foreign affairs for several years. His working experience at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs both in The Hague and in Beijing makes it possible for him to communicate with both the Western and Chinese side directly and to understand the intercultural differences deeply. He masters several languages, among which English, Dutch, Chinese, German and French.
In ECS, Mr. Otto takes full responsibility for Customer Relationship Management in the area of North China. With his intercultural working background and his outstanding knowledge of languages he devotes himself to managing the contacts and customers relations North China. For each foreign company faced with challenges to their China activities he is there to provide support.
Bernhard Sroka
Regional Manager South China at ECS, born 1984, German nationality, holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration.
Mr. Sroka has a background in International Management and SMEs. In his working career, Mr. Sroka has collected various experiences in Sales, Business Models, Management as well as Strategic Consulting. Mr Sroka has dealt with China and the Chinese economy since 2006 and has collected knowledge and experiences in Trading, Real Estate, Green Technologies and Consulting with focus on the Chinese market. Mr. Sroka is living and working in China since 2006.
At ECS, Mr. Sroka takes full responsibility for Customer Relationship Management in the area of South China. ECS’ position as market leader will be strengthened by Mr Sroka’s team and they will support Chinese companies with the aim to enter the German market. For each foreign company faced with challenges to their China activities his team is there to provide support as well.
Michael Ellenrieder
Regional Manager East China at ECS, born 1978, German nationality, holds a German Diploma Degree in Economics.
Mr. Ellenrieder has an educational background in Economics and International Trade. In his working career, Mr. Ellenrieder has collected various experiences in Sales, Human Resources, Marketing as well as Strategic Consulting. Mr. Ellenrieder has dealt with China and the Chinese economy since a couple of years and has collected knowledge and experiences in Transnational Project Management, Sales Networks, Finance and Human Resource Services with focus at China and the European Union. Since the middle of 2008, Mr. Ellenrieder is living and working in China.
Mr. Ellenrieder and his team are responsible for sales in East China. ECS’ position as market leader will be strengthened by them and they will support Chinese companies with the aim to enter the German market. Mr. Ellenrieder and his team consult our costumers when entering the market and support them through the process of growth and consolidation.
Ines Heinrich
Regional Manager of Northern Germany at ECS, born 1963, German nationality, retail businesswoman.
Since 1980 Mrs. Heinrich is continuously working in the commercial business. Until January 1990 she worked for the preparatory book trade and then changed to publishing in February 1990. For the period of 10 years she was an appointed sales manager of a well established, quoted publisher in Northern Germany. On the one hand she was responsible to create and stabilize sales structures within Germany, Austria and Switzerland, on the other hand she had to develop over 1000 items, their production in China and the import of more than 2.5 million parts. Since May 2003 she works as self-employed interim manager of the sales organization.
For ECS Mrs. Heinrich is in charge of the Customer Relationship Management for the region of Northern Germany. Due to Mrs. Heinrich’s varied experience in the fields of procurement, sales activities and company organization she guarantees a broad understanding of all the requirements of our present and future ECS customers in Germany on their way to successful business in China.
